Nicholas Mynyk is a distinguished classical pianist, organist, and conductor whose artistic reach encompasses international concert stages and prestigious academic venues. Renowned for his technical precision and deep scholarship in historical performance practice, Mynyk has established a formidable presence as a soloist, collaborator, and visionary founder of the Academy of St. Luke’s and St. George’s Chamber Orchestras.

Specializing across the keyboard spectrum—including piano, organ, fortepiano, and harpsichord—his interpretations bridge the lineage of the Western canon with a modern, revelatory perspective. His work in sacred music and liturgical leadership has earned him critical acclaim, reflecting an unwavering commitment to the preservation and evolution of the classical repertoire at the highest professional standard.

Teaching & Academic Posts: Mynyk has held distinguished faculty positions at Temple University, Westminster Conservatory, and George School. His academic leadership focuses on technical mastery and the preservation of historical performance traditions across the keyboard disciplines. Church & Sacred Music Appointments: Currently serving as Organist & Choirmaster at The Nevil Memorial Church of St. George, he previously held tenures at Trinity Cathedral and Christ Church Woodbury. He also served as Assistant Organist at Princeton University Chapel, contributing to a legacy of liturgical excellence. Performances & Collaborations: His international career as a conductor and multi-instrumentalist includes acclaimed appearances at Carnegie Hall, the Vatican, and La Madeleine in Paris. Currently he is servings as Organist & Choirmaster at The Nevil Memorial Church of St. George in Ardmore, PA.  His artistry is informed by study and performances at Princeton University Chapel, La Madeleine, Monte Carlo, and the Vatican. This global liturgical perspective and commitment to the Royal School of Church Music youth shapes his mission to preserve historic choral and organ traditions while cultivating the next generation of performers through rigorous academic and spiritual discipline.

Nicholas Mynyk is deeply committed to cultivating future leaders in performance, sacred music, and scholarship through comprehensive pedagogical initiatives. His specialized programs include expert youth chorister training and intensive master classes and workshops tailored for both emerging students and professional educators. A cornerstone of his mentorship is rigorous preparation for elite festivals and competitions, including the Dorothy Sutton Performance Festival and auditions for Carnegie Hall. Nicholas has served as a devoted board member Vice President  and President of the Philadelphia Music Teachers Association and continues to chair the prestigious Dr. Andor and Joy Kiszely Carnegie Hall Memorial Recital. Under his guidance, students consistently secure top honors in local, state, and national competitions, earning significant scholarships and performing at world-renowned venues such as Carnegie Hall and Merkin Hall. His long association with RSCM and his building youth chorister and orchestra programs demonstrates his passionate commitment to sacred music and the importance of youth in communities of faith. Through these initiatives, he ensures that the next generation of artists achieves the highest standards of technical mastery and visionary musical leadership.
